Set in ancient China, Hua Qian is a shrewd young woman obsessed with Zhong Yelan, a wealthy heir to an incense empire. But Zhong Yelan’s heart belongs to his childhood sweetheart Mu Yao, leading Hua Qian to hatch an elaborate plan with her father, Butler Hua, to bring down the Mu family, rousing suspicions and resulting in unforeseen tragedy. When a stroke of fate gifts Hua Qian with a chance to change the past, she must choose how best to save her loved ones and potentially change herself for the better.
