Greg Kinnear stars in the true story of an inventor who crusaded against unjust American automakers. Robert Kearns (Kinnear) developed intermittent wipers in the 1960s and took his brainchild to Detroit to cash in on his creation. But when motor giants rejected Kearns, then debuted vehicles with his device, it would take an arduous legal fight for Kearns to earn his credit.
