Cowboy Tim Holt tries to prevent a transcontinental telegraph from being sabotaged by a scheming shopkeeper, Paul Manning. In order to hinder the construction of a new telegraph line for his own financial gain, Manning enlists the assistance of Brad Roberts and his gang of outlaws, but unfortunately for the bad guys, Holt and his cohort sense foul play and embark on an investigation.
