George Clooney is superb as the title character, a lawyer who cleans up the messes created by his company's mega-money clients. When a co-worker (Tom Wilkinson) loses it and threatens to divulge an explosive secret, Clayton races to fix things for their multinational conglomerate client whose chief counsel will do anything she can to stop the threat.
