Swinging bachelor Johnny Gaines (Bixby) enjoys a life filled with parties and women, until the day when a young man shows up on his doorstep, claiming to be his son. Johnny is shocked to learn that the young man is the result of a one-night fling twenty years before. His life disrupted, Johnny must make some tough choices in his life if he is to have a relationship with his son. A wonderful TV-movie-of-the-week, with an unusual role for Bill Bixby.
