El Socorro, Colombia, 1810: Three sisters enjoy a privileged childhood in high society, until their mother's rejection of an admirer results in tragedy.

The assassin hired by Montenegro arrives in El Socorro and makes inquires about the Villamizar family. Rebellious Isabela runs away from the hacienda.

Montenegro entrusts wealthy royalist Manuel Albarracín with a key role. The Villamizar sisters move back to El Socorro and accept their first mission.

Isabela hits it off with Julián, unaware he's Montenegro's son. Carolina reveals her mission to her boyfriend, while Leonor hides her own secret romance.

The sisters make progress in gaining Montenegro's trust, and learn the whereabouts of a man involved in the events surrounding their mother's death.

Acting on a tortured man's revelation, Montenegro heads to the barbershop. Carolina and Isabela come face to face with their target: Nepomuceno Márquez.

Aurelio leads the insurgents in an attack on the fort where their comrades are being held and tortured. Cuervo gives the sisters their next mission.

The insurgents surrender, but have a trick up their sleeve. Leonor finds a way to deliver McCowan's payment unnoticed. Isabela attempts a daring rescue.

Leonor discovers who stole the necklace. Albarracín makes a dark confession to his priest. A renowned Spanish military engineer arrives in El Socorro.

Leonor finds her girlfriend beaten. Carolina hosts a dinner, where she tries to get info out of the engineer, while Isabela breaks into his hotel room.

Leonor finds herself far from home, surrounded by thugs. Despite his health, Montenegro goes on a mysterious trip. Albarracín gives Carolina a surprise.

Rosario tells Leonor she might be able to save Olga, but needs her help. Isabela and Carolina find a way to get a closer look at Del Castillo's painting.

Rosario finds the herb she needs. Julián discovers who was last seen with Carmenza: Leonor. Carolina learns Albarracín has hidden letters in his library.

An unlikely hero saves Leonor and Rosario. Searching for Leonor, Julián and his men are ambushed. Albarracín's possessiveness of Carolina intensifies.

The sisters deliver their intel about Bolívar and the bridge to Cuervo's right-hand man, but Isabela doesn't trust him. Maximiliano León calls a meeting.

As part of their plan to prevent Bolívar's assassination, the sisters set out to abduct Del Castillo, but discover someone else has gotten to him first.

Albarracín learns Carolina isn't wearing her ring. Alexandre tells Montenegro about the insurgent he helped. Leonor's trauma takes a psychological toll.

Isabela finds out Montenegro knows about Cuervo and is planning to intercept him. A doctor examines Leonor. The sisters are given a new target's name.

Carolina and her entourage visit Judge Bernat's hacienda, under the guise of shopping for a slave. Julián discovers Alexandre is missing from his cell.

Leonor is visited by Victoria, whose voice Sofía recognizes. Bernat grows suspicious of the sisters. Julián's brush with death leaves him shaken.

Leonor is shown an opportunity to save women like Carmenza. A notorious Spanish interrogator arrives in El Socorro and orders mass arrests.

After Julián is caught trying to free Zenaida from jail, the housekeeper makes a stunning declaration. Granjean offers a deal to Eulalia.

With a special agenda in mind, Leonor goes to confession. Albarracín enlists a wedding planner. Aurelio is enraged by Granjean's reign of terror.

In response to the flag burning, Granjean puts El Socorro on lockdown and orders a search of the Villamizars' home. Isabela and Federico share secrets.

Albarracín spots Aurelio sneaking out of his house. Montenegro catches Leonor in a lie. Granjean tests Julián's potential as an investigator.

Montenegro has Leonor investigated. Aurelio sees a bruised Carolina at the town market. Julián goes against his father's wishes to be with Isabela.

Albarracín admits to Montenegro he told Carolina about the secret mail. Isabela tells Julián who killed her mother. Madame retaliates against Leonor.

Released by Montenegro, Laureano tells Cuervo what he must do in return. Julián takes Isabela to visit Saldarriaga and asks him who killed Beatriz.

Leonor thinks of the perfect person to be her lawyer. Isabela makes a decision about Julián. Granjean learns Julián is investigating his own father.

Granjean orders Federico to bring Saldarriaga to El Socorro. Victoria offers to testify on behalf of Leonor, and pays a surprise visit to Sofía.

The real Cuervo reveals to Isabela the truth behind his imposter. Aurelio and Salvación grow closer. Leonor's trial begins, with Sofía as her lawyer.

When Federico is sent to Cuervo's house to look for Isabela, Julián secretly follows him. At the trial, the prosecution tries to provoke Leonor's anger.

A request to the conclave backfires on Victoria. Aurelio and Salvación try to kill Granjean. Julián makes Isabela escape from the standoff without him.

In the ruins of Cuervo's home, the Spanish army finds Julián's uniform. Leonor is publicly shamed. Salvación learns Aurelio was sent on a false mission.

Leonor joins Aurelio's army. Granjean overhears Isabela at the inn and realizes she's an insurgent. Carolina gets her fiancé to open a secret letter.

Carolina sneaks off to Aurelio's camp to warn him of an ambush, and later meets her fiancé's relatives. Federico offers Isabela a moneymaking proposal.

On her way to the church to get married, Carolina makes a detour. Leonor escorts Antonia to the Villamizar hacienda. Federico's past catches up with him.

Carolina reconciles with Salvación. Isabela rescues Federico and, over the next three months, the pair grow closer, but a discovery brings her back home.

Isabela is ambushed by three women. Aurelio and Leonor learn someone they thought was on their side leaked intel on the insurgents to the Spanish army.

Federico learns why Isabela returned home. Carolina summons Leonor to a family meeting. Dr. Jaramillo suggests to Albarracín a way to test his fertility.

Sister Teresa gives the sisters Father Cayetano's location, but asks for something in return. Federico sends evidence against Montenegro to Judge Ocampo.

Isabela experiences a scare. Sister Teresa helps Leonor deal with Father Cayetano. A housemaid finds a box of herbs under Carolina's bed.

Posing as a Spanish officer's wife, Leonor must trick a soldier into giving her a secret code. Carolina finds letters written by her husband's late wife.

At the reception, Montenegro suspects McCowan is a traitor and watches him closely. Carolina discovers what her husband is capable of.

Leonor is sent on a mission to make a Spanish official fall for her. Isabela feels pressured to put a stop to the rumors about her unborn child's father.

Tavern keeper Bartolomé makes a confession to Montenegro. Albarracín catches Carolina gathering his late wife's letters. Leonor meets Rafael Ulloa.

Isabela is pressured to marry. Salvación corners the traitor. Albarracín hires an assassin. Laureano is taken to a ghost from his past.

Leonor catches Julián's attention and tries to help him escape. Carolina and Aurelio enjoy a passionate reunion. Lucrecia goes into labor.

Julián rushes Leonor to his father's headquarters for medical help, and it isn't long before Isabela spots him. Salvación acts on her feelings for Duque.

Rafael Ulloa joins Maximiliano León. Sister Teresa interviews Julián and assigns a mission to him and Isabela. Leonor is taken to a reeducation center.

Sister Teresa visits the reeducation center to speak with Leonor. Aurelio warns Carolina she's being followed. Rafael approaches Federico with a job.

Rafael's mercenaries get to work. Leonor begins to inspire her fellow inmates. Julián learns the anonymous witness in Beatriz's murder trial was Eulalia.

María Luisa makes Leonor her personal servant. Carolina asks Montenegro to release Salvación. The sisters learn that Rafael's next target will be Sofía.

Leonor regains the respect of her fellow inmates, who reveal an escape plan to her. Julián leads an attack on the mercenaries outside Sofía's house.

Marín and Eulalia torture Salvación to try to make her confirm their suspicions about Carolina. Leonor and the inmates set in motion their escape plan.

Leonor escapes and warns Sister Teresa that the inmates are in peril. Rafael tells Montenegro to get rid of loose ends, and gives Federico a new mission.

Sister Teresa sets in motion her plan to rescue the inmates. The Spanish soldiers who've captured Aurelio are ambushed. Montenegro has Carolina followed.

Eulalia tells Leonor she'll testify against Montenegro. Isabela, Julián and Federico arrive in Barichara and head to De la Roche's home address.

Salvación offers Laureano a proposal. Orozco sneaks into Carolina's house and snoops around. Federico discovers what kind of man De la Roche really is.

Leonor arrives in Barichara, where she recognizes a face from a traumatic experience. At the town market, Carolina is approached by a new fruit vendor.

Sara succeeds in winning the trust of Carolina, who reveals more than she should to her. Isabela and Federico walk straight into De la Roche's trap.

Sara gives Carolina hard evidence against Montenegro to see who she passes it on to. Leonor and Julián visit Rafael's wife, Cristina, to ask for help.

Leonor accompanies Cristina en route to El Socorro. Rafael decides to eliminate Federico. Sara lures Carolina into a trap designed to clinch her trust.

Cristina's arrival infuriates her husband. Sara tells Montenegro who Carolina's superior is. Bartolomé shares suspicions about Sara with Salvación.

Julián halts the prisoner transport and tries to rescue Sara. Carolina refuses to flee without first fetching the document proving Montenegro's theft.

Federico begs his father not to hand over Isabela. Julián gets the document into safe hands. Eulalia pleads to Montenegro to spare her life.

Montenegro is arrested and faces shipment to Spain for his trial. But Leonor and Salvación are determined to capture him before he's taken overseas.

Using Rafael's list of contacts, Julián sets out to arrest each conclave member. Isabela goes into labor. Tobón corners Montenegro, who makes him an offer.

Montenegro and his men storm the safe house where Isabela is, but Julián and Federico aren't far behind. Soon, a hostage situation develops.
