Stuck in a rut, Josephine leaves San Francisco and her tech job for a pageant in Taipei, where she meets Nian-nian, who's equally restless about life.

Josephine wakes up in Nian-nian's flat. Nian-nian heads to San Francisco to surprise her significant other, but keeps bumping into renowned chef Ryan.
