Madame Amalia wants to take over and demolish Spikersfield College after the owner mysteriously dies. Six girls must now unite to save their school by competing in and winning a volleyball tournament. Along the way, a mysterious figure uses the Legend of the Olympic Torch to teach the newly-formed Spike Team the skills they will need to win.
